This should be an interesting topic for all fathers -to - be in the 21st century..
Let's see.. men in the 21st century are expected by society to be partial breadwinners, succeed in their chosen fields, find a nice well matched bride, father children AND participate in their upbringing...
What can I say about women in the 21st century... I think we are a bold lot, having great expectations of the men we choose to marry.. some finally choose not to, maybe because ALL men disappoint them and are unable to live up to their increasing expectations???
So once we become pregnant.. hm... the ball kinda lands on the poor guys court.. well, we ARE the ones having to suffer 10 months of pregnancy related complaints, so WE MOST CERTAINLY are going to make full use of our limited privileges!
Chris has been doing an excellent job, albeit he has had the time off to do it of course... he's taken 6 months off paid work as a glorified hospital slave to do research and contemplate the future... Housework has been divvied up, he gets the vacuming and ironing nowadays, while i get to keep my cooking and washing of the bathrooms.. mainly because I am sort of a germ phobic....
He's doing the ironing now.. and keeping an excellent standard of it... am really proud of him ..
Oh.. and of course, being somewhat of a handyman around the house when needed...
